Exeter High School Student Work-Study Practices

(Adapted from NH-State Board of Ed Approved WSPs-August 2014)

Work-Study Practices (WSPs) are behavioral qualities or habits of mind that students need to be successful in college, career, and life.

New Hampshire students must demonstrate proficiency in these four (4) work-study practices in order to graduate from high school and be considered college and career-ready. Students at Exeter HS will be measured on WSPs during some major summative assessments throughout all classes, at least once quarterly. Students will be evaluated using a common 4-point rubric; this will be reported out as separate ongoing data point in Alma and will not factor into a student’s grade. Ideally, individual progress will be made on these soft skills as the year progresses.
