As a regular curriculum offering at Exeter High School, Driver Education classes are offered each quarter (9 weeks) and also as a six week program through the Summer School program. Each program, successfully completed, carries 1 credit.

SIGN UP EARLY, AS CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED!!

New Hampshire DMV and Department of Education requires that your son or daughter successfully complete:

• thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction
• ten (10) hours of behind the wheel instruction
• six (6) hours of in-car observation with a certified instructor

Requirement for registration:

• Students must turn 16 before the program ends
• Students must attend 15 classes held each Monday and Tuesday at EHS from 2:40-4:40 with minimal absences.
• Students must be prepared to pay tuition, currently $525.00 due by the second class.
  Checks are made payable to Exeter High School. Refunds are discussed on an individual basis.
• Enrollment is limited to 25 students per quarter based on age.

Summer 2008!

Applications for EHS summer Driver Education are now available. Classes begin June 30 and end August 19.
All applicants must turn 16 on or before August 19, 2008. Classes meet Monday and Tuesday, 8:00-10:00.
Cost is $550.00 at the time of registration.

2007-08 Classes

• 9/4/2007 through 10/29/2007
• 11/5/2007 through 1/15/2008
• 1/28/2008 through 3/25/2008
• 4/14/2008 through 6/10/2008

Any student interested in taking driver education may pick up a registration form and further information from the main office of the program the student attends (EHS, Alt.Ed., GBeCS). Seats are limited... first come, first served.
